
(ally sits, wondering about her future as a dancer as brody comes in. she quickly glances at him before resuming chewing on her bottom lip in thought)
Ally: Did people ever tell you that you couldn’t be a dancer Brody?
Brody: (chuckles lightly) It’s all I ever heard growing up. Boys can’t ballerinas. I could never be a great dancer. You name, I heard it.
Ally: So what did you do? With all the negativity I mean.
Brody: I became the best ballerino I could be. I trained hard, I pushed through injuries. I was meant to be a ballerino Ally. And if you believe that you are meant to be a dancer, then you’re meant to be a dancer.
